RUSH is a fast-paced running game developed in Unity HDRP, focused on clearing obstacles while exploring visually rich worlds. The project combines responsive gameplay with cinematic-quality real-time visuals to enhance atmosphere and environmental storytelling.
CHALLENGES :
Maintaining smooth gameplay performance while using HDRP’s advanced rendering features was the primary challenge.
Creating visually distinct environments, responsive obstacle mechanics, and consistent materials required careful optimization. Integrating VFX, lighting, and camera movement without disrupting gameplay flow also demanded precision.
SOLUTION :
Level design and gameplay logic were supported by basic scripting for player movement and obstacle interaction. Shader Graph was used for optimized materials, while real-time lighting and post-processing established mood. VFX Graph, particle systems, and Cinemachine enhanced feedback and camera behavior.
