The project explores how game-engine technology can deliver film-like cinematography while maintaining real-time performance. It emphasizes mood, atmosphere, and visual storytelling through detailed level design, physically based materials, advanced lighting, and cinematic camera movement.
CHALLENGES :
Achieving cinematic visual quality in real time was a major challenge. Balancing HDRP lighting, volumetrics, and post-processing without impacting performance required optimization.
Creating consistent custom materials and shaders using Shader Graph, managing real-time lighting and reflections, and integrating VFX while maintaining stability added further complexity.
SOLUTION :
A structured workflow was followed, starting with environment layout and composition. Custom Shader Graph materials provided visual control while remaining efficient.
HDRP lighting and volumetric effects enhanced mood, while Cinemachine delivered smooth cinematic camera movement. VFX Graph, particle systems, post-processing, and basic scripting completed the real-time cinematic pipeline.
